2858 END-SUCTION, BACK-PUL CENTRIFUGAL PUMPS
Alpha "APP' range heavy duty chemical process pump is a horizontal
single stage centrifungal pumps. The complete pump barring the volute
casing, can withdrawn towards the motor end without disturbing the
suction or delivery pipeline. Top centre line discharge with end
suction self venting casing arranged for 'back pullout'. The pump
feet are integrally cast in the volute casing for maximum resistance
to misalignment and distortion from pipe loads. Closed or semi open
radial impeller mate efficiency and low NPSH. Sturdy cast iron construction
provides rigid and shaft support contains large oil reservoir. Renewable
shaft sleeve with one end free to expand with temperature variation.
Simple change to mechanical scale is possible with the aid of standardised
conversion parts without remachining.
